Lecture 1: When Dreams Come Tumbling Down
to Earth:
The Saturn - Neptune Cycle
The 35 year Saturn Neptune cycle often brings dreams
tumbling down to earth, while others dry up and disappear.
Dream maker, dream taker, which side of the process
will we be on? Where do we need to let go and where
are we asked to hold fast? Saturn in Leo, more than
any other sign, tests our sense of self; it hones the
will and tries the heart.
With Neptune in Aquarius in opposition to Saturn, the
great tides of the world pull each of us along with
them. How do we catch a ride on the dream of the moment,
and still stay connected to the voice of the heart?
Saturn in Leo may require considerable courage, and
yet bring amazing gifts of spirit. We will look at the
cycle both individually and collectively, examining
its effects on the houses and planets of the chart.
Lecture 2: Planetary Joys:
The Sun has its Joy in the 9th- discovering
Planetary Joys
For ancient astrologers, Mercury wasn't necessarily
strongest in the third house nor Mars in the first.
Each of the seven traditional planets has it's Joy in
a very different part of the chart. How do these placements,
Mars in the 6th, Moon in the 3rd, Jupiter in the 11th,
Saturn in the 12th, shift our understanding of both
planets and houses? Using the Joys, we walk through
the wheel of the birthchart into unfamiliar territory.
This 'rediscovered' map of planetary strength has some
surprising and satisfying revelations for the understanding
of our own journey. |
