Topic: Living with the Ancestors, and celestial
heredity.
In the old myths, the soul is said to choose the family
that will best suit it's purposes. Whether we subscribe
to this belief or not, there are often mysterious events
that seem to repeat from one generation to the next.
How is it that our own life experience carries echoes
from the lives of others? A birthchart is both highly
individual, and a repository of memory and talent, of
heredity and unfinished stories, It is as if we are
all working on the same puzzle, and each family member
has a different piece of it. The chart connections between
family members give clues to what may be tying us together,
where we are carrying a particular pattern, a talent
or conflict that belongs not only to us but to our kin.
When the puzzle goes unsolved, a similar problem can
be passed down again and again. We will look at both
the stories in our own charts and the astrological connections
that link us to others.
