Well into her tenth year in journalism, way back in the 1980's, Linda Shaw was sent to interview an astrologer for the Sunday Times. She was so fascinated by what she heard that she asked where she could find out more. Needless to say, the cosmic forces were standing by...there was a beginner's course starting that night.

It took another ten years for Linda to find the courage to call herself an astrologer - and even now, she sometimes wonders where she gets the nerve. Today she combines writing with teaching and counselling - always on the lookout for ways to expand her skills and areas of influence.†Her favourite arenas are radio and large groups of women. Men still baffle her completely.
